Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann CCÉ local branches

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann  (pronounced “kol-tus kyol-tori air-in” and translates to “a gathering of Irish musicians”) is an international organization based in Dublin, Ireland.

Started in 1951, Comhaltas is a non-profit cultural organization and exists for the purpose of preserving and promoting traditional Irish arts, specifically music, singing, dance, and language, and to co-operate with all bodies working for the restoration of Irish culture. There are over 400 branches worldwide from Argentina to Tokyo.

All Branches actively promote traditional Irish culture and arts through the lens of each branch’s founders, honorees, and members. Each branch is not only a reflection of Irish culture but also of its community and their devotion to the cause of preserving our Irish heritage and legacy, weaving it into the fabric of daily lives, for ourselves and our children.

Please join us for uplifting tunes, sorrowful songs, joyous dancing, luscious language and the traditions of community and hospitality... below are links to some local branches and CCÉ Worldwide:
